President / Director of Design
BRIEF HISTORY
I received a Bachelor of Engineering degree from The Cooper Union. During my years at Cooper Union, I worked as an intern at Symbol Technologies testing and developing hand held scanners and Fujitsu Network Communications working with telecommunication enclosures. After graduation I spent 10 months at ATTI working on defense test equipment. And although it was interesting, I was looking for something more. I found an opportunity at Four Seasons Sunrooms where I was promoted to Lead Structural Engineer designing aluminum and wood sunrooms. From there I transferred to Orlando, Florida to work directly with a Four Seasons corporate retail store, allowing me more direct contact in the field dealing with both the contractors and spending more time with the building officials on many aspects of the construction process. After some hard thought, I decided to leave Four Seasons and start my own design firm, EMC2 Structural Design. I work with many Four Seasons dealers, but have been fortunate to be able to expand into new directions and help a variety of contractors and manufacturers in all aspects of residential and light commercial remodeling. And although EMC2 is currently a design firm that works closely with consulting professional engineers, I am also a registered Professional Engineer with the state of Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

My four years at Cooper Union were some of the best times. Although a small college, it has a character that is larger than life. For those of you who have never heard of the Cooper Union, let me start with one of its greatest attractions... It's the only private college, that offers a Full Tuition Scholarship to All who attend.
Diversified, Intimate, and Brilliant are some words I'd use to sum up the school located in the heart of "Greenwich Village" Manhattan. Diversified with the students, teachers, and advisors from all ends of the world brought together with many events to illuminate the various cultures of the world which are all complemented by its equally diverse surroundings. Intimate because the classes are very small. By senior year most classes where only 8 to 10 students. Due to the class structure, students are encouraged to work as a team to help support one another and learn from each other. One of my professors used to say he is not a teacher among students, but rather a guide among teachers. It wasn't long before you had a sense of home away from home, which was good because you spend more time there than you did at home! Brilliant because of its ability to produce excellent engineers, architects, and artists. For those of you who know Cooper Union, you know it needs no explanation to the value and depth of the curriculum. But for those of you who may need some more convincing, I offer this... When I attended Cooper Union US News had consistently rated the engineering program one of the top three colleges in the country for all four years (in all engineering disciplines and as an overall rating).
